About a month ago we had a trivia question about One Off/Guest Driver trivia.

Here's a couple of pictures that I found that had driver's names written on the back that I was kind of surprised by:

Sammy Beavers Sesely 16

Wait, Ray Evernham Sesely 16

Correct - Picture says "Ray Evernham - Bridgeport - March 1983

This was Ray’s only time on dirt if I’m not mistaken

Ray is in the 16 at BP.He won the Consolation 

Ken Brenn Jr in the 27? Yellow helmet, looks like a bandana also, that Kenny wore.

Correct - Written on the back of the photo: "Ken Brenn Jr - Nazareth - 4/1982

Ray has run sprint cars since then.  Typical asphalt guy running dirt, always messing with the shield! It's the hardest thing to learn going from asphalt to dirt. Ask every single guy that did it andI i guarantee they say "I ripped them all off on the first pull" !  lol

I initially said Sam Beavers, because one night I was helping Tony Sesely at Flemington and Sam was driving that car. He got a flat and came in and thought he was done, but we changed it pretty quick and had to push him out of the pit. The car would'nt move and Sam was holding the brakes and was very calmly saying, "let me put my gloves back on, then we'll go back out." I don't know why I thought that was so hilarious, but everyone was so hyped up and Sam just sat there calm as could be. Went back out and finished near the front.

Just a wild guess, Pep Pepicelli in the 11.

Not sure if it is correct or not, but it on the back of the photo of the #11 it has "Will Cagle - Bridgeport - August 1980.  Looking at the uniform, it looks like it is probably Will as he wore the same color as in the photo below.
