Mini Indy was always Memorial Day weekend. 50 laps and started three wide.

Thoughts: Smoking two strokes. Mix of TQ's from the 50's to the late 70's, a bad mix. Cars ranged from 13 second laps to 18 second laps, so the fast had to race around the slow. After 5 laps you had no idea who was in any position. Two or three push trucks, so it took 15 minutes to start them because they would stack them on the front stretch, and a few had hard times starting. Red flags were bad. One or two of the Modified guys would race them and not do very well. Bottom line, I hated when the TQ's were there. lol

Gil's car, agree Bob Rossell or maybe Tom Durkin. Mark Engle wore an open face helmet. Back than, Charlie Kremer Jr. and Tony Siscone wore full face helmets and very few others in the Mods.
