Tommy Thompson 35, died 9-28-78. Five days after fourth turn, last lap crash at Trenton. His goal was to be the first AfroAmerican to race at Indy. The car he raced was a Lola number 50. Perhapes, maybe, the number 50 Lola in the first picture is Tommy Thompson.
