Travelers Rest Speedway- SC. Participant. The facility is not bad. Old but not rundown. Parking lot seemed alright. Restrooms were acceptable all night long. They have an 11:30 curfew so the promoter kept things moving. Racing was completed before 10:30. Too many divisions, they ran 6 local classes plus us. A very strong crowd in attendance. The pits were good enough. I've seen far worse. Not enough Porta-pots. The first 30 minutes of the ride home was terrible. Dark roads thru serious hills with barely visible lines on the road but ya can't blame the track for that. If this place was nearby I'd go to watch. Why not?
