Wow !! Watched the replay this morning of the LM feature last night from West Virginia Motor Speedway. Incredible racing on a big 5/8 mile track. From what I vaguely recall, this track was brought back from the dead. I can't speak for the facility, but the racing was great and the stands were packed. I personally LOVE "big track" racing, and believe I'm in the minority here. Yes, the cars get stretched out rather quickly, but it's the cream that rises to the top. The best drivers at that moment, going crazy fast speeds, battling it out , door to door. Alot of people enjoyed the NYS Fairgrounds for the great times they had with family and friends, and the commroderie (sp?)shared with others. I personally LOVED the racing there. The fuel mileage game, the tire conservation game, etc.

the WVMS sorta reminds me of the 5/8 Bridgeport configuration...perhaps a little more narrow in the corners. I have no idea what their schedule is, but I know that I'm going to try to attend a show there this year.
