Original Message John "Animal" Smith passed away last week after an illness. John was a semi regular on this board at one time. If you ever went to Grandview you no doubt saw him. A true racing nut, and a really funny guy. My first exposure to him was when he was sitting across the aisle from us at Grandview years ago, URC show. He was doing a spot on imitation of announcer Ernie Saxton, something he did regularly. RIP |
