I know the "big guns" are still going to win most of the "Halmar" STSS races but I applaud Chris Larson and Halmar for paying a really nice purse throughout the field.  I believe this money will allow some of the lower teams to be more competitive, or to continue to compete at their repsective Saturday night track.  Since it doesn't look like racing costs are going to go down (ever), this series offers the next best thing, bigger purses down the line.  Scott Ely
