Thank you for those kind words; both my father and uncle served in WW2 , my dad in the Coast Guard and my Uncle Lou in the SeaBee's; dad attempted to join the Navy but his mom wasn't having it, so it was the Coast Guard. I feel it was a generation that will never be duplicated and had a pride for their country that will never me matched and many never returned or if they did, were never the same as when they left !
