I too spoke with AARN in the past.  They bundle the papers per zip code and mail them first thing Tuesday.  Here in Miamisburg, OH (in SW Ohio), I have gotten it as early as Friday and as late as never.  One week I got the issue dated Tuesday the week before on the next Wednesday and the issue dated the week before that on Thursday.  What is interesting is that, back in the day, I used to get National Speed Sport News every week on Friday from Charlotte.
