George, thanks for posting the great photo of Parker Bohn next to the 1937 (or 38) version of the 659.  My mom would take me to Wall just about every Sat night in the early 60s.  We were friends of the Moschera family and rooted for Augie and his son Jackie.  I remember when Parker would let off the gas entering turns 1 or 3, a large, long flame would shoot out of the inboard exhaust pipe.  Guess the old memory ain't what it used to be as I still can't remember only watching the 1936 coupe version of the 659.  Miss those hot rods from the 60s, and 70s!  Scott Ely
