Being laid up after an ankle operation, I've found alot if spare time to really delve into FloSports. Watched both nights of the $25k to win, STSS race at Cherokee Speedway. 4-20 lap qualifying heats on Friday paying $1000 to win. Top 5 qualify, 3 to redraw. Races on Friday we're pretty much single file, lock down racing. I forgot to mention that Deyo stated awhile ago that there will be NO PROVISIONALS given for this race. After qualifying, some of the big names not qualified were Decker, Perrego, Gular, Mahaney, Britten.

Saturday had the consis and feature. There were a few other classes that I had no interest in. Track widened out a bit during consis, but when it was all said and done Gular, Britten and Mahaney were on the outside looking in. I was impressed that Deyo stuck to his word and granted no provisionals. I will attend every race that this man promotes, when possible, because you can trust what he says and doesn't water down the product he presents. He is the single reason that our NE modifieds popularity is in the rise.

Saturdays 50 lap feature started out as a big if a snoozer until Matt Sheppard went to the outside and everyone else followed to open up the outside. From that point on, the race was as exciting if a race as I've ever seen. Surprisingly enough, the #26 of Godown came out the winner with Wight and Pauch Jr. finishing out the podium.
