1980, won the opener at EWS with our LM (beat Gary Raymond) then went to Flemington's opener the following week and won that too! Of course that one didn't hold up, got DQ'ed for being light but at least we knew we were fast. I remember the EWS program after the 1st few weeks said in the LM division it wasn't a driver to beat, it was a car! Pretty sure we all won races there that year.
