Yeah, Dave Graham was nice enough to put Darren in his 2nd car and was leading the rookie points when someone let the Flemington management know both his and Dave's d/l's were revoked at the time. They put Newt Hartman in one car and Fritz Epright in the other one and won a bunch of races that year. Unfortunately that was the last year of dirt at Flemington so he really didn't get to race there much.
