I'm not saying it was the main reason. I'm sure the property is worth a small fortune. But I am pretty sure the Rodgers family is also just tired of dealing with the town and all the negativity on social media. Not to mention the accusations of favortism towards certain drivers all the time.

For Christ sake you got one guy posting on here accusing NASCAR of downrite malice and trying to cover it up. Hell I don't why anybody would want to be a track promoter or run a sanctioning body.

My guess is you have at least 2, probably 3 more tracks in this area, that will be shutting down soon. Not just because of financial gains/loses, but because of the pure B.S. they have to deal with from the so called fans on social media..
