When nascar came to Wall Stadium in the early 2000's, we were led to believe great insurance.  Comparing the policies, Wall Stadium had a much better policy. It may have saved the track owner some money,  but it cost the racers.  Every driver and crew had to buy an expensive license.  The point fund from nascar was ok at best but you you were basically only getting back what you put in and the teams that did not get point money, only put in. If you just wanted to show up for a race or two the temp license was pretty expensive, even crew wise.

Nascar promised all kinds of promotional stuff and we basically saw nothing. Their website pretended to cover the short track "grass roots" racing, but did basically nothing. You see how Nascar is now, not much different than.

My belief, let Brett Deyo run this. He did some asphalt at Bethel. I pretty much begged Brett to take over Wall just before he started STSS in 2012. He had no interest in it.
