I sat in those backstretch seats once ten years ago or so. Terrible seats. I too noticed they were covered with tarps and not available for fans to sit there. My theory is they do like they did at Atlanta and figure out how to make it a premium parking spot for large RVs. I know those seats butt up against Speedway offices and the museum but I bet theres enough room to make it work. They could charge a boatload of cash to put your motorhome there for 3 days.
