I've been a fan since Joe signed his Jets contract; put up with a lot of grief & aggravation, but I'm loyal to Gangrene & especially Joe. Your mom & I sure had something in common...a nice guy to admire when there are a lot of morons out there. Sorry you lost her.  My dad wasn't much of a football fan until Joe came along.
