Matt Bahre has been documenting his restoration of the 24D weld car on a Facebook page called 'The Weld Car Project'.  He has been meticulously fabricating parts and pieces in his quest to do an accurate restoration of the Ed Delmolino piloted car.

Likely this is already known as Lenny and Rick are somewhere in the thread there proposing a road trip to CT.
