Yea, but Maynard was slowing down in 79 and it was the last year he ran his own 6. At that point he was so busy building cars, he ran the same 6 for a few years just, different paint schemes. I remember him showing me that 6 in the back of his old Troyer shop by the lake in 1980 and saying it was a few years old. The car was last run at Pocono in 79 and was pretty worn, especially to Maynards standards. He finished second to Richie in 79.  He ran the Soucie 17 in 80.
