The NASCAR race was a dud. I found myself wondering if a year of gathering data on the new car has brought things back to where they were before and the faults of the 1.5 mile tracks are again exposed. I was doing some things whils the St. Pete race was on but was still following along. The storyline kept changing which is good. A little too "crashy" but it's a narrow circuit so it gets crowded at times. Theres a video going around that shows McLaughlin and Grosjean chatting at the DHL hauler after the race. Hugs and handshakes between the two drivers which is cool to see. Good on Scott for physically going to Grosjean to talk things over rather than posting a "Sorry bro" tweet on Monday. I know a guy who works inside Penske and he says McLaughlin is the coolest driver of the bunch there. Danica did wear those faux leather pants well. I will say that much about the Vegas race.
