Didn't mean to imply that they were the same car.  Definitley two different cars, one #44 and one #17.

The reason I posted the 2nd picture was to tie in Dick Simon since his name was mentioned as the driver of the #44 that was referenced in the pictures at the top of this thread.  It may not have been clear, but wasn't trying to say that it was the same car in all pictures.

The picture with Dick Simon in the car is the #17 that Janet drove, although Dick had his helmet with the #44 hanging on the right side mirror.

Here's another one that I found from that same batch of the car (#17) that Dick was sitting in, but this time, Janet's driving:


I'll post some other photos in the future from what looks like was probably a test day at Trenton with Janet Guthrie.  They're not dated, but perhap its from 1976 as you mentioned...  Does anyone know if she ran at Trenton in an actual race and/or more than once?
