Not sure if it happens with others out there but whenever I have to remember something from the past, I always way underestimate how long it's actually been....  For example, I'll think of something, and in my head I think it's only been about 10 years ago, and then I take the time to figure it out and it's more like 20 or 25.  My basic rule now is whenever I think of something from the years ago, I come up with an initial # and then add at least a decade or two!
