Went to New Egypt as a fan in the stands. they put new Clay down last week, no dust where we sat. The prior few weeks NES had been very dusty. On the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Car page, one of the drivers said there was absolutely no tire wear! I would encourage anyone who has not been there lately to give NES a try one Saturday night.

Nascar Cup race watched most of the final hour. It's amazing with a car stopped on the track. How no yellow flag was flown till Denny crossed the white line to win under caution. If it were any other driver the officials would have thrown the yellow immediately for more overtime action.

Speaking of Wall 3 current and one past Modified drivers finished in the top 4 during the Sportsmen 50 lapper! Between tire and extra fuel costs, plus wear and tear on the car. I would not complain about any regular Sportsman driver that skipped Saturday's race.
