I was thinking the same thing with the bottom of the car being flat and so sealed off, at one point it looks like it catches the wind and causes it to go even higher.  They'll need to do some kind of flaps like they have done on the roof, that open to allow the air to maybe move through the car (?) to make it want to set back down.  

I don't know... I'm no engineer, but there's definitely something to be learned from this, and fortunately, it didn't take a serious injury or fatality to make those involved aware that a change is needed.

Nascar promotes the sport by featuring the spectacular crashes, but I'm sure all agree that they want to find a way to reduce the chance of serious injury once something has happened that raises awareness.
