One more thing.  Danny owned an  airplane and I flew with him .  I can remember telling one driver in the pits at EWS that I flew with Danny and he asked me if I was  out of my mind to fly with "Crazy Wheels".  That was his nickname for him.  I did hear rumors about him flying under bridges on roads that weren't completed yet.  True or not, I can't comfirm it.  That was a really good time hanging around Danny in the 70's.
