Was sorry to see that. One of the original Outlaws, he was tough anywhere he went. I believe he's also the one who introduced drag tires to dirt track racing. I see it says he retired in mid eighties, but I remember him racing at Lincoln as late as 1988 when I was helping Rod Hanna when he raced there. May he RIP.
