I don't know if all of the tracks did this, but Nazareth used to have a couple of practice in the beginning of the season. Guys would show up with new cars to shake down, some with fresh paint, others still in primer,some lettered up, so me not. One year Dennis and Randy Baily showed up with identical mustang bodied cars and one of them flipped in between turns 1 and 2.
