Original Message I agree, John, so now the real race is often who can get through the lapped traffic the best. I've seen many races lost in lapped traffic (and Larson won a few, laying back and letting the leader get trapped behind a slower car). When the leader catches the back of the field, my race buddies and I put up two fingers to signal that "Race #2" is beginning. It can be as entertaining as watching Pauch, Brenn, or Polski come from 18th to the front. - David |
