In 1967 when Wally Marks was helping Ray Neary and myself at our garage on Fulton street in Trenton,NJ we had a 427 cui Big Block Chevy engine on a carburetor and duel point distributor. Not knowing much about point ignition distributors Wally said to me take the distributor out of the engine and we will take over to the "Kingfish". That was the name all the racers called Charley Marant. So we went to his garage and I got to meet the famous "Kingfish" and saw him put our distributor on his machine and calibrate it. What a privilege. Fred Menschner.
