Message Dave - I asked Ray Shea yesterday about the #83 Sedan. Here's what I learned: There were two of them. The first was built with square tubing and he flipped it at Wall and it was destroyed. The second #83 was built from a frame/cage/sedan body that they bought off of someone else, and finished it up to make the 2nd #83 sedan, so when it hit the track, it too was a new car. Ray said he drove at Pleasantville twice and I can't remember if he said it was the first #83 (square tube) or the 2nd. Ray also said he drove a '39 Ford coupe #72 at Pleasantville in the late 60's. He said it had a star pattern next to the #.
