On my way to the track ... OK Lenny.....  

In about 1967 my aunt and uncle, Marge and Jerry Cervenka took me one Sunday to Nazareth Speedway. On the way we exited rt 22 at 25thst rt 248 to head to Nazareth. Jerry was talking to us as he drove, at the end of the ramp the traffic light had just turned red. Jerry had stopped a bit too far into the intersection, 25 ft. or about.  So he put it into reverse backed up to the painted stop line. We waited for the green light, when it turned green he accelerated away from the traffic light. ONLY WE WERE STILL IN REVERSE, we didn't hit anyone but we all had a good laugh over that. Great times with special racing people !        Hank Winecker
