On my way to the track  

Back in the '70's my dad would let one of us kids ride in the car on the trailer going to the track. One time we seized a wheel bearing on the trailer and that particular wheel and tire came off the trailer and passed us going around what was then called the Strawchurch circle on 22 in Phillipsburg, headed for Nazareth. It rolled past us, hit the angled curb going around the bend in the road, bounced up and hit the road sign, knocking it over. When we stopped to get it my brother Darren, who had been riding in the race car, said it's been smoking since Jugtown Mountain, I yelled but no one heard me! Yeah, I don't think he could yell loud enough, lol!
