Back in the day I was pit crewing for Roger Furstenburg. We were heading down to East Windsor. Roger's dad and Bob Smith ( Smitty) were in the front of an old ambulance truck and Roger, Fritz Epright and I were in the back. We're going through a circle when I could feel us stop. Herbie opens the sliding window and yells get out. When we opened the door we could see this very attractive women on the side of the road with a flat tire. Well we did our best Nascar pit stop. One of us grabbed the race jack, another grabbed the T lug wrench while another got her spare out. I think we changed it in a minute or two. The woman just stood there in amazement. We jumped back in and continued on to East Windsor. Fun days.
