I haven't posted photos in quite a while as you can tell! All this "smart" crap such as my new printer is taking some time to figure out.

My father was an avid race fan, his first race was at the Nutley Velodrome when he was 9 years old in 1934 I believe. He later attended races at Hinchcliffe Stadium, Morristown and Dover NJ. He worked at Dynapac as an inspector and did Neon tube bending, sign painting out of our house on the side. When I was about 11 I bugged him about going to the drag races and one Saturday we set out for Island Dradway. We arrived to find it closed! He told me that he'll take me to something way better than drag racing, "we'll go to Flemington next week". Well we went and all I remember was the flames from the exhausts, and Oliver Butler in this red coupe! My father was always busy so I was lucky to attend 2 to 3 races a year. Once I got my drivers license it was on! We lived on Rt.206 in Flanders and was lucky to have Cagle, Johnny Haroll, Jimmy Horton with the "pigmy" coupe and others go past heading to Middletown.
