Question for Jack Kromer  

Thanks! Sometimes writers contact me and sometimes I contact them, about using my pictures in their books. Pretty sure for the Sammy Swindell book, writer, Bob Mays, contacted me and I then emailed him of bunch of low-resolution Sammy pictures. He and Sammy then picked out the ones they wanted and I sent them the larger-file-size images of those shots to be printed in the book. Then, for the Steve Kinser book, I talked or texted (I forget) Dave Argabright, when I heard he was going to write a book about Kinser and I asked him if he needed any pictures of Steve, because I shot a ton of him through the decades. So when Dave was at the point where he said he was ready for pictures for his book, I did the same thing--I sent him a ton of Steve Kinser low-res pics and he and Steve went through those and picked out the ones they wanted for the book. Getting a cover picture on those two books sure was a nice surprise and an honor. And then there were other times, where the publisher or author, ask for permission to use my images that they saw before, either on social media or in print in the past.
