Being a big fan of Whip Mulligan back in the day, I was hoping to join his fan club in 1970. When I didn't see his fan club at Nazareth Speedway, I inquired about it with the fine folks at Area Auto Racing News in 1971 and they were nice enough to reply and let me know that the club wasn't active at the time. 
I never did get the chance to own a Mulligan Fan Club card. 
55 years later--I finally have a Whip Mulligan Fan Club card in my possession. Found this rare one on eBay. 
I guess this one was given to Bobby Bottcher's Fan Club (spelled wrong on the card). I'm thinking maybe back then some of the fan clubs gave out complimentary memberships --like a courtesy to the other fan club presidents at the track.
