Friday night made it out to Georgetown Speedway for Lucas Oil Late Model race. The stands were packed and the program moved along at a nice pace. Before the racing began, I witnessed a few interesting things as I roamed the pits.

An RC car was making several hi-speed passes through the pit area. It was chasing golf carts and roaming around. After a while several team members put together a makeshift ramp. The car made numerous jumps. It even decided to "investigate" the pit stall occupied by the Rocket House car driven by Brandon Sheppard, as it drove underneath the car on its lift. The driver of the RC car was none other than Tyler Erb.

Also came across a future racer! A member of the Dale Hollidge crew.

The racing was great as the Late Models put on a show.

Jonathan Davenport finished 15th after a spin.

Devin Moran emerged victorious by .077 seconds over RTJ in a great race to take home the win. All pictures are taken by me. Looking forward to the Super Dirt Car Series in May at Georgetown.
