Tony Stewart is starting to look like Drew Carey.

Watched it all, including the all of the pre-race coverage, and every lap of the race.  I enjoyed it all and enjoyed the way it was presented on Fox.

Thought the way Felix Rosenquist fought back for the win was a huge moment, after it looked for sure as a late race caution had taken his chances away.  Watching the way he drove the last lap really answered the question, "How bad do you want it...."

Tough not to feel bad for 2nd place finisher David Malukis, but being the top Penske finisher, and his performance in qualifying and on race day will hopefully provide some security that will provide him with future opportunities to win at Indy.  

The guys I was rooting for (O'Ward, Daly and Ferruchi) all had solid days, but unfortunately, it's all about winning at Indy as most quickly forget where anyone else finishes.

The only negative I have is that Fox was in such a hurry after the race to switch to some UFL games somewhere, that I think they only interviewed the winner and 2nd place finisher, and O'Ward, and then soon ended the coverage of Indy.  Seems to me that an event that is as big as Indy, and the month long building of story-lines, deserves more than a quick hook after the race was over, just to get to some UFL game.  Probably pretty revealing of what is wrong with network TV priorities and why the shift is away from network TV to streaming.

In agreement with your comments, Joe. I too was not happy that the post race coverage ended rather abruptly.

My son and grandson joined me in continuing our tradition of watching the race together. We were all shouting “YES” as Felix Rosenquist made the pass at the line for the win.

Last night I made my annual comment to my wife: “Now I have to wait 365 days until the next 500!”

Totally agree, Joe.  I thought they cut away at the end way too early, especially after such an exciting race.  The desire for the win showed by Felix Rosenqvist was awesome!  I did feel bad for David Malukas after having victory snatched away by such a small margin,  Can't wait for Indy 2027....hope to be there in person!
