in the article it is stated that the reason for the break is because they have had a lot of features go non-stop and it is too hard on the engines. Also states that if a yellow comes out due to an on track incident between laps 10 - lap 15, that it will count as the "break" and no additional break will be taken at lap 15. I think I also read where the cars will be lined up single file for the restart after the break. Not weighing in with an opinion here.... just passing along some additional info.
