More "Modified/Sportsman "Car Owners of the 60's & 70's Trivia  

Great topic. This has been on my mind for a while now. The Art Of The Car Owner has been mostly retired. There were actually two types of owners. The ones that were just pretty much check signers are one. These owners didn't really know how to check the stagger never mind work on the car during the week to prepare it for the weekend. The other wrote the checks and also worked on the car, loaded it, and trailered it to the track etc. I'm not rating them better or worst but just showing the difference. As I said I've been noticing the trend of pay to play. I guess this just gets noticed by me because I lived with a car owner that took that honor very seriously. I honestly don't know why being a owner is trending down.
