The driver he had the run in at Reading was most likely Gerald Chamberlain. Gary has told that story a few times. I've evan seen a picture of Gerald leaning in the window and giving Gary his side of the story. For the record Gary left the 3 team on his own. Didn't get fired. As far as the Flemington race Stan was leading and Gary ran him down. When he made his move under Stan in turn four Stan did end up in the marbles and then the wall. After the race Stan said that there was no contact between them to put him in the wall. Years later however Stan, I believe changed it to Gary put him in the wall. I'm not saying which is right or wrong. Just the facts.
