Tim Cindric says the wrong software was unintentionally loaded and his drivers regularly smash the P2P button when the system is off so ultimately it was a coincidence that P2P worked when it shouldn’t have. Josef Newgarden today said his team (where Cindric is Race Strategist) thought that P2P was legal this year on restarts and that’s why he was using it. These two statements don’t really gel.
