He got me following NASCAR again probably 10 -12 years ago. After The King retired I hardly watched any Cup races for years. I'd check the results to see where Smoke finished and that was usually the extent of my interest. I'd watch Daytona, Talladega, etc. but it was not on my radar from week to week.
But I started noticing this kid who was Kurt Busch's little brother and saw a wheelman who hated finishing in 2nd place. I'm a competitive sore loser so I liked that. He won the winged micro sprint feature at Millbridge on Wednesday night. First win for KFB in a micro.
Yeah, I decided not to go so I missed it dagummit!!!
