New Egypt Speedway Cancelled 6/11/22  

Hate to say this, but under current ownership I don't see this track lasting much longer.  I am not a fan of Doug Rose, but he is doing a much better job down the road, and drawing the cars and fans away from New Egypt.  New Egypt keeps cancelling for no apparent reason.  A couple of weeks ago they cancelled the USACec cars on Thursday based on a weather forcast for Saturday. Didn't cancel their own classes until Saturday morning.  Guess what, it never rained.  Last week they cancelled URC's scheduled appearence on June 18th due to a scheduling conflict?  Guess Fred didn't want to pay the URC fees.  And now this, when there were already competitors on the grounds.  Not leaving that warm, fuzzy feeling with racers or fans.  I personally haven't been to New Egypt after what he did years ago to TSRS.  Hard to support an owner who only thinks about himself, and not the people who put the fans in the stands.
