I was at the Denver (NC) farmers market from 8 to noon this morning helping my wife sell her soaps. No NASCAR related clothing was seen. Interesting side note however. I saw a young lady wearing a Beak Built tshirt so I asked her about her shirt. They build modifieds down here. She told me her dad owns the company. Her dad is David Reutimann. I told her and her mom I used to watch her grampa Buzzie race several decades ago in NJ. They thought that was pretty cool. But that was the only racing related gear I saw. This afternoon I hit a discount mart, a Walmart and an Aldi. I saw a Dale Jr stand up plugging Sun Drop at the discount mart. That's it. I saw an old S-10 with the very dated Earnhardt 3 with angel wings decal on the rear bumper. That's it.
So yeah, NASCAR Country isn't really NASCAR Country any more.
